Reading records: classic or equipped

The records pages list the current Dutch records per lift and total. A binary toggle switches the records board between classic (raw) and equipped lifting — two separate record books that never mix.

Classic vs equipped

Classic (raw) means lifting with at most a belt, sleeves and wrist wraps — no supportive suit. Equipped lifting adds a squat/bench/deadlift suit and bench shirt that store energy and add kilos. Because the gear changes what is possible, the two have separate records.

The toggle defaults to classic. Flip it to equipped to see the equipped record book; the view you are in is labelled in the section header.

Reading a record

Each record is the heaviest good lift in one weight class, sex, division and equipment type. That is why one meet can set several records at once — one per lift and total in each bucket.

The recent-records view lists the latest changes; the division pages break records down by age class.
